Program Highlights

• Roughing it with the animals, a chance to spend time in nature away from the distraction of technology. This includes everything from camping in tents, to direct interaction with the animals.
  

• Animal Education, learn all about animals from around the world. Learn about animal diet, vet care, and enrichment for the animals at the zoo.
  

• Ages 11-16, because of the limited age range, the campers get a unique opportunity to grow together and form lifelong friends.
  

• Spiritual Growth, spend a week interacting with the God who created the animals. Not only do you grow through Chapel every night, but also have opportunities in servant leadership and camp devotions.
  

• Your camp staff is dedicated to providing a holistic camp experience. The campers grow spiritually, cognitively, physically, and socially.
  

Our Mission

The mission of Creation Encounters Camp is to provide a Christ centered hands on learning experience through animal interaction.

Camp Theme 2009 - In the Beginning

We are going to be getting down and dirty this week in this unique animal adventure. We will be learning all about God’s Creation through camp songs, daily interaction with the animals, and off site trips hiking and swimming at Vogel State Park and Brasstown Bald.

When?

Camp will be held the first week of August. Campers will be dropped off on Sunday, August 2nd, and will be picked up on Saturday, August 8th.

Camper Cost

Our current estimate for each camper is between $350 and $400. We will be sending out more detailed information on CEC in the near future.
